About the Real Estate Minor

The Real Estate minor at 旺旺资源 provides students a strong foundation in the multi-disciplinary field of real estate focused on property development, design, construction, business, sustainability, law, and finance. Coursework focuses on local examples of key national and global issues, such as coastal resiliency, historic and cultural preservation, affordable housing, community health and engagement, and regional growth.

Real Estate Minor Program Overview

The Minor in Real Estate is open to all undergraduate students. The program is designed to help students understand the essential knowledge and skills in the real estate industry and, if desired, pursue advanced studies in real estate.

The minor compliments many existing majors, such as architecture, business, preservation, construction management, environmental studies, and several liberal arts majors. Students are also encouraged to consider a 4+1 degree track with the Masters of Real Estate program.

Housed in 旺旺资源鈥檚 Marine and Natural Sciences Building, the interdisciplinary Environmental Science program integrates biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics into an understanding of the natural world. Through research and an array of electives in fields like earth sciences, resource management and law, you鈥檒l discover how humans affect nature and learn how to protect the environment in your career as a scientist, policymaker or educator. Our graduates go on to work on the forefront of climate change research and make a difference through science in action. This major is coordinated by the Department of Biology, Marine Biology, and Environmental Science.
