The Visual Arts department at ÍúÍú×ÊÔ´ prepares students for future careers in the arts with an interdisciplinary spirit and a global perspective. The Visual Arts faculty consists of active artists who share their experience with students through lively and challenging discussions and critiques. Media exploration is encouraged throughout the program and culminates in the creation of a cohesive body of work that reflects the individual student’s interests.

With state-of-the-art computer labs, real-world internship experience, and personal interaction between faculty and students, you’ll learn the best professional practices to prepare you for a career in the in-demand graphic design field.

Students in our digital-first Journalism program become more than just great writers. Through rigorous coursework and real-world experience at internships, you’ll learn how to gather news, report current events in an ethical manner on digital, print and electronic platforms.

From day one, you will learn strategic communication principles and complete projects that create, promote, and maintain the reputation of brands, people & organizations through experiential classes and job-focused training. Learning from people with PR experiences, you will craft materials, amplify your skills, and learn how to develop, present, and manage communication efforts that actively contribute to profits and reputation, all to make the world a better society. Public Relations is a dynamic degree that allows you space to explore all your passions. The major provides versatile skills and the ability to build an impressive resume from day one. Our program meets yearly with professional alumni in the field to understand what is needed to be successful and make curriculum adjustments to ensure our graduates are work-ready.

At ÍúÍú×ÊÔ´, Web Development students don’t just design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art websites. They work on multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems for real-world clients. In the Web Development Center, you'll meet your first three clients in your sophomore year. As you begin to work with real clients, you'll quickly discover that web development isn't just about technology. On the Web, "content is king." So we encourage you to reinforce your web development education by picking up a major or minors in fields like Marketing, Graphic Design, User Experience (UX), Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Writing, Visual Arts, Cybersecurity and Business.
