Introduction

Currently serving as Chair of the Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition, Dr. Reynolds’ teaching and scholarship are grounded in feminist rhetorical practice and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Her most recent conference presentations and publications focus on writing pedagogy, writing for public audiences (and for public good), and writing program administration.

She teaches a range of writing courses, ranging from first-year courses such as How Writing Works through upper-level courses such as Art of the Essay, Feminist Rhetorics, Advancing Public Argument, and the Writing Portfolio. Outside of writing courses, Dr. Reynolds sometimes teaches in the Honors Program and the Gender & Sexuality Studies program.

Awarded a "Hybrid Hero" commendation by the Student Senate Academic Affairs Committee in 2018
